Lake Wisconsin Gabion Job

 This project utilized gabion weir structures, riprap, and erosion control matting to stabilize a channel located in a heavily shaded area.  Stabilizing this channel is helping to reduce erosion and soil from entering into Lake Wisconsin.  Click on the above job name to see more pictures.

WI DOT Emergency Repair Gabion Job

 Gabions were used to stabilize a slope that had been blown out by heavy rain in the city of Milwaukee along the river.   Excess rains created a massive slope failure exposing a water main.  Crews installed Maccaferri gabions and utilized a pneumatic hog ring gun to assemble and connect gabion baskets.  Click on the above job name to see more pictures.

Testa Green Roof

 The new Testa produce building was a design build project located in Chicago.  The building has a large green roof incorporated into 3/4 quarters of the roof area.  The most interesting feature of the green roof is the barrel roofs in the front of the building.  The barrel roof utilizes a Presto Geoweb Cellular Confinement System to hold the growing media on the barrel.

Ashbury Park, Naperville, IL

Bedrock Earthscapes did a shoreline stabilization project at Ashbury Park in the Naperville Park District.  It was a restoration for the south pond bank.  This project was completed October 8, 2010.  Click on the above job name to see more pictures.
